The Crowson Bowl is awarded annually to a person who, in the Gala Committee’s opinion, has made a substantial contribution to Gala over a prolonged period.
Your Village Society has been busy over the last 12 months. We organised our community events including the Lantern Parade, Christmas trees and Party on the Green. We also supported our sub committees with the Dore Show; the Dore neighbourhood forum, and More in Dore with their fundraising for new playground equipment.
The Dore Festival and Gala is a fantastic opportunity to gather as a community and celebrate our life together in this beautiful place we call home. I’m so grateful to all those who make it happen - all the hard work, dedication and care that goes into making this great community event run smoothly.
I’m pleased to say that the Gala is back for 2024 and it will hopefully be better than ever! This year we’re really pleased to once again be able to include Totley Scouts and Cubs and really look forward to having them with us on the day!
